In this episode, Stephen de Cuba, a Gen Z Wedding Photographer and Business Strategists shares his story of how a discarded camera and quinceañera dresses helped to inspire him to be the creative entrepreneur he is today.
Born on the Caribbean island of Aruba to Aruban and Colombian parents, Steven de Cuba was destined to be a man committed to building relationships. Island cultures tend to be really close knit and bound together by intricate relationships between individuals and families. His father was a photographer and his mother stayed home and raised Steven and his siblings but worked hard to sell all the accoutrements needed for all the quinceañeras in his Latin community.
He learned to enjoy a creative life, but also the importance of making a living. His mother's hustle taught him to think entrepreneurially. These are traits that have served him so well in his young career and have really defined who he is and the impact he wants to have in this world
Listen in as we delve into these stories and so much more!
